Virtually Yours (Accidentally in Love Book 1)

About

Jesy Pattinson never meant to fall in love through her inbox.

One accidental CC pulls her into an unexpected connection with a man she’s never met. What starts as polite replies turns into late-night emails, shared humour, and forbidden feelings.

Unlucky in love Brian knows he shouldn’t keep replying. Afterall, how many dates had been ruined by the reliance of a screen? Yet with Jesy, he can’t help but be drawn in.

As boundaries blur and feelings deepen, the distance between them begins to not matter, and the real life waiting for them becomes less appealing.

A tender, emotionally charged small-town romance set in Meadowcraig. Perfect for fans of slow burns, emotional intimacy, and love stories that start quietly but change everything.

Praise for this book

What a clever premise! Virtually Yours unfolds almost entirely through emails and text messages, capturing the serendipitous online connection between unhappily married Jesy and (mostly) single guy Brian. It starts with a funny mix-up wherein Brian gets accidentally added Jesy's family's chaotic group email chain about her mother in law's funeral and it quickly spirals into witty banter and forbidden flirtation with an unexpected emotional depth.
The email format was a struggle for me, hence the 4-star review; But Baillie's dialogue crackles with humor, and the slow-burn tension had me hooked, however the intimate scenes left a little to be desired. It's a smart take on digital-age loneliness, temptation, and those "what if" moments we all have.
